‘Light Memoir’ is an impressive collaboration from Mathieu Charbonneau and Pietro Amato. It’s a laid-back electronic track that allows the style of both experienced artists to bounce off of one another and collide in interesting ways. The minimalistic piece gradually builds up, with frantic yet quiet drum sounds bustling away under a repeating piano line. Twinkling electronic sounds dip in and out to further the track’s ethereal sound. This is a collaboration that has excited in various forms over the years and hopefully continues for many more to come.
